Job summary

Capital on Tap is seeking a Product Designer to join our centralised team, contributing across product areas as our web and mobile apps grow. This hybrid role, based in London, will help shape our design system and span 70% UX and Product, 20% UI and Visual Design, 10% Marketing and Growth.

You should have 2-5 years in product or UX design with a strong portfolio and fluency in Figma. You will collaborate across engineering, ops, and data, thinking from first principles to deliver outstanding

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in product or UX design, ideally with some exposure to a design system (Figma and/or code).
• A portfolio showing solid UX fundamentals (problem definition, interaction, usability, accessibility) alongside a good eye for visual polish.
• Fluency in Figma and working knowledge of modern design and prototyping tools.
• You go and find out. You take unknowns to whoever holds the answer, support, engineering, ops, data, rather than escalating or guessing.
• You define design by what it needs to do, then apply the right elements and patterns.
• You build from the kit. You reach for existing solutions before inventing, and can tell when they genuinely don't cover the case rather than forcing a bad fit.
