Job Description

The Product Designer position plays a pivotal role in crafting user experiences and interfaces for innovative products. In this capacity, the designer collaborates closely with team members to grasp user needs and drive impactful design initiatives. Interaction with diverse stakeholders, including engineering teams, will be essential in delivering top‑notch products that resonate with customers’ expectations and align with business objectives. The emphasis will be on generating intuitive designs that foster an engaging user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily engagement in various facets of product design, seamlessly integrating into the overall product development workflow.
• Evaluate customer needs and pain points to create innovative design solutions.
• Collaborate with the Founding Product Manager to execute design updates on a feature‑by‑feature basis.
• Partner effectively with engineers and other stakeholders to ensure high‑caliber execution of design strategies.
• Create user flows, prototypes, and refined visuals for product features.
• Participate in developing internal processes that maintain a strong focus on quality and detail.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience developing and launching visually compelling digital products, ideally in a startup or scale‑up setting focused on SaaS or B2B.
• A strong portfolio that presents the design process from initial concept to final product, showcasing visual excellence.
• Proficiency in leading design tools, particularly Figma.
• Solid understanding of visual design elements, including typography, color, spacing, iconography, and composition.
• Knowledge of web best practices, including HTML/CSS norms, accessibility standards, and responsive design approaches.
• Well‑versed in interaction design, including prototyping, transitions, animations, and easing techniques.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills, able to articulate and defend design decisions in a remote‑first environment using various documentation and prototyping methods.
• Experience weighing technical aspects against design possibilities.
• Proficiency in conducting user research, interviews, and usability testing processes.
• Experience in developing and maintaining design systems.
• Enthusiasm for early-stage product development, contributing positively to the product’s trajectory.
