As a Product Designer, you’ll combine your craft expertise with an understanding of customers and the business to co-create innovative solutions to complex problems. Here are some of the expected competencies for this role: Product Design Expertise: Leverage deep expertise in product design and skills across interaction, visual and service design to elevate the quality and maturity of the design practice in collaboration with cross‑functional partners, use appropriate tools, platforms, frameworks and design systems and work with teams to create artifacts that may include journey maps, blueprints, high‑fidelity designs and prototypes. Human‑Centered: Champion the customer through the design process, leveraging critical‑thinking skills that factor in data, research insights, scalability, tech constraints and feedback. Business‑Focused: Understand and apply business and customer strategy, facilitate design process activities with team and partners, negotiating customer needs and business goals for harmonious outcomes. Problem‑Solving: Actively build an understanding of the potential of tech and data capabilities and emerging technologies and use this knowledge to inform work, identify new opportunities and help your team navigate technical limitations.

My client are currently looking for an experienced product designer / full stack designer with good experience of B2B product design. Your role will be to help assist with multiple existing and new projects with respect to full stack design, on the clients various DATA RICH applications, which are internal and both externally facing via a portal, for example to help onboard clients. The client are currently looking to improve the design within the organisation, currently around 2/3 on the NN model the ideal candidate will have knowledge and understanding of the Nielsen Norman model and assist with the organisations aim to move up the model scale. An ability to assist in championing and influencing this throughout the organisation will be a help. Experience of FIGMA is very important. You will have a strong portfolio evidencing your design experience.,

• At least 3-5 years of experience in a Product Design role
• At least 3 years of experience with design and prototyping tools, such as Figma
• Preferred Qualifications: At least 4 years of experience working with an established design system; Experience working in heavily regulated, data heavy problem spaces; Financial services / payments industry experience is a nice to have; Role is predominantly remote, however ideal candidate would be able to get to onsite meetings a few times a month based in Hampshire.
