Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is seeking an experienced UX Designer to craft end-to-end experiences and cohesive journeys using a central design system. You will bring designs to life with prototyping tools like Figma and balance business needs with user research to advocate for the customer.

You’ll adapt designs across platforms, guide teams on user-centric approaches, and promote inclusive design. Financial services exp. is preferred; two office days per week is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in User Experience design or Interaction Design.
• Strong experience as an Interaction Designer, UX Designer, or Visual Designer.
• Excellent prototyping and layout skills, with ability to explain design decisions clearly to internal customers and development teams.
• Comfortable using existing design systems and proactively recommending improvements.
• Able to interpret quantitative and qualitative research to the interaction design process.
• Familiarity with complex environments.
• Financial services experience is preferred.
• Able to see designs through to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Craft end-to-end user experiences and cohesive customer journeys using components from a central design system.
• Bring designs to life using prototyping software such as Figma.
• Balance business requirements with user needs by gathering user research and rationale, and push back diplomatically when needed to support customers.
• Adapt designs to technical constraints across platforms while guiding teams on the best end-user experience.
• Advocate for inclusive and accessible design for customers of different ages, backgrounds, and technical abilities.
• Present design work to collaborators and adapt designs based on their feedback, user research, and usability testing.
• Communicate with developers to ensure designs meet specifications and work for a broad range of users.
