Job summary

Fashion & Retail Personnel is seeking a Senior Product Designer to drive the development of fashion product ranges from concept to customer presentation. You will collaborate with sales, sourcing, and development teams to translate ideas into commercially viable products.

The role requires strong product design experience, excellent trend awareness, and the ability to lead projects from concept through production while mentoring junior designers.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Senior Product Designer to join a fast-paced, design-led business supplying trend-driven products to leading global retailers and brands.

This is a role for someone who thrives on innovation, loves spotting what's next and gets genuine satisfaction from turning ideas into commercially successful product. Working across a diverse portfolio, you'll be responsible for driving product development from concept through to customer presentation, collaborating closely with sales, sourcing, technical and development teams.

What you'll be doing

• Leading the design and development of commercial fashion product ranges
• Researching and presenting seasonal trends, product concepts and innovation opportunities
• Creating inspiring customer presentations and supporting key client meetings
• Managing development critical paths and overseeing sampling activities
• Working closely with sourcing and product development teams to identify new product opportunities
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the design team
• Building strong relationships across design, sales, technical and sourcing functions
• Championing assigned brands and ensuring products meet both commercial and creative objectives

About you You'll be a commercially minded designer with strong product development experience and a passion for creating exciting customer-focused collections.

You will bring:

• Strong experience within product design or product development (ideally hosiery experience in there!)
• Excellent trend awareness and commercial understanding
• Experience leading projects from concept through to production
• Strong presentation and communication skills
