Job summary

The Portfolio Group is seeking a Senior Product Designer for a fully on-site role in Manchester. You will take ownership of the design of a key product area, working with Product Managers, Engineers and other teams to create simple, user-friendly digital experiences.

You will lead end-to-end design, produce wireframes, prototypes in Figma, and conduct user research and usability testing to inform decisions. You will help shape roadmaps and contribute to the design system while mentoring others.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Product Designer / UX Designer.
• Excellent UI and visual design skills.
• Strong experience with Figma.
• Experience with user research and usability testing.
• Good understanding of accessibility and WCAG.
• Experience working in an agile, cross-functional team.
• Comfortable using data and customer insight to make design decisions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience mentoring other designers.
• Understanding of how digital products are built.
• An interest in AI and emerging technology.

Responsibilities
