About the Job

You’ll join our Product Design team as a key team contributor whilst progressing your skillset. With guidance from our UX Researcher, you'll build an understanding of user needs and behaviours to then iteratively create solutions through wireframes, user flows and prototypes.

You'll be keen to test prototypes with users, learn from their feedback, and present your findings to the team. You'll collaborate closely with our PMs and engineers to learn how to balance user needs with technical feasibility, and play an important role in maintaining our design principles throughout our platform.

At Nourish, we have a thriving UX/design team subculture which promotes shared learning and progression. We operate as a guild which aims to transform the care sector through exceptional user advocacy.

You’ll benefit from hands‑on experience alongside team initiatives including our regular design crits, a monthly UX/design team day in Bournemouth and dedicated learning via UXcel to support your growth.

Required Experience

We are looking for a curious and motivated designer with proven experience or a compelling portfolio. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and grow, and will have:

  • A solid understanding of user‑centred design principles and a passion for learning more about research, visual design and information architecture
  • Strong skills in Figma and a desire to learn our shared team tools
  • An excitement to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional team
  • A keen interest in user research and a willingness to learn how to turn feedback into user‑centred solutions
  • An understanding of accessibility (WCAG) in design
  • A basic understanding of design systems
