About the Role

Remitly is looking for a Product Designer who obsesses over the more nuanced aspects of interaction design while also relishing in solving strategic experience problems.

As a Product Designer working on our core remittances product you will be critical in driving strategic design work across the user journey. You will collaborate with teams across design, product, engineering, and data analytics to get alignment across the organization. You will also set the bar for craft by taking great pride in designing experiences that our customers love and that deliver meaningful value to them. This role reports to a Senior Product Design Manager within the Global Design organization.

You will be hybrid (2–3 days a week) in our London office. #LI-Hybrid

You Will
  • Facilitate the design process for your projects from end to end: discovery and concept ideation flows, wireframes, full‑fidelity prototype designs, and other interaction design deliverables.
  • Collaborate, influence, and negotiate: partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and Writers to define customer problems and goals.
  • Design and ship world‑class experiences: advocate for design in the planning & development process, create visually stunning interfaces that make emotional connections with users, and communicate the brand. Champion cohesion and consistency to unite a growing family of products.
  • Advocate for simplicity, usability, and accessibility: leverage the design system and partner with its team to evolve it when gaps arise.
  • Be the voice of our customer: proactively bring empathy and the voice of our customer/user insights to the teammates with whom you work.
  • Design solutions that address immediate needs at the local level while ensuring they scale across broader systems and markets.
You Have
  • 3 years of product design experience
  • Strong portfolio showcasing thoughtfully designed, tested, and shipped experiences with depth and clarity
  • Experience driving product direction, setting goals, identifying opportunities, and making customer‑centric decisions
  • Experience designing and prototyping complex workflows with Figma, ProtoPie, or similar products
