Job description

PERSUIT is a fast-growing legal tech scale‑up transforming how legal teams engage with outside counsel. We believe great design is at the heart of building elegant, impactful, and efficient user experiences, and we’re looking for a talented Product Designer to join our growing design team.

In this role, you will:

You’ll join a passionate design team dedicated to shaping a platform that drives real impact for some of the world’s leading in‑house legal teams. As a Product Designer in the Spend Management at PERSUIT, you will:

  • Work end‑to‑end across discovery, ideation, and delivery
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers in a cross‑functional squad to deliver impactful product experiences and dev‑ready design assets
  • Drive innovation and early‑stage discovery projects
  • Facilitate design workshops, user research sessions, and validation activities
  • Support our Design Ops practice by contributing to key initiatives and collaborating closely with the team
  • Help maintain and evolve our design system
  • Advocate for best‑in‑class design thinking across the organisatio
  • Be proficient with Figma, JIRA, and other standard product design and prototyping tools

Depending on the project, you might spend one week on user research and strategy, and the next embedded with a team delivering the final UI for an MVP.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a strong generalist designer with great product instincts and the ability to move confidently across the design process—someone who enjoys solving complex problems and knows how to bring clarity to ambiguity.

You should have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer. Experience in fast‑pace SaaS startups and scale‑ups is highly regarded
  • Experience designing across the full product lifecycle, from discovery to delivery
  • A strong portfolio showcasing product design work, especially for complex workflows
  • A good eye for design and sound judgment in applying design best practices
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders
  • Experience working in agile environments as part of a product trio
  • A results‑oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering impact over perfection
  • Adaptability and pragmatism to thrive in a fast‑moving startup environment
  • (Bonus) Experience working asynchronously with global teams
Location & Workstyle

This role is based in London on a hybrid work schedule from our office.

You’ll be collaborating with a distributed team across the US East and West Coasts, London, Melbourne and Vietnam so flexibility and strong async communication skills are important.

You’ll Thrive at PERSUIT If You:
  • Take initiative and get things done
  • Bring strong perspectives, but remain open to new ideas and changing direction
  • Value collaboration and learning from others
  • Enjoy working in a scaling company where priorities can shift quickly
  • Hybrid work
  • Be part of a mission‑driven team shaping the future of legal tech
  • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)
  • Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity)
  • Training & Development
  • Wellness Resources
