Job summary

Randstad Technologies Recruitment is seeking a Product Content Specialist to manage digital product content and catalog data for European eCommerce launches. You will review, enhance, and standardize product specifications, metadata, and supplier assets to comply with brand guidelines.

Based in Greater London, you will collaborate with IT, Commercial, and Marketing teams to publish accurate data, improve CMS workflows, and support timely product introductions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific field.
• 1–3 years CMS content authoring experience.
• Proficient with Excel for data manipulation.
• Basic HTML formatting is a plus.

As a Product Content Specialist, you will play a key role in managing digital product content and catalog data for new product launches across European eCommerce platforms. Your primary focus will be reviewing, enhancing, and standardizing product technical specifications, metadata, and asset media provided by external suppliers, ensuring all digital authoring aligns with corporate style standards and brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Supplier Data Collection & Synthesis: Collect, validate, and structure technical product specifications, asset media, and metadata from external suppliers into clear, standardized product descriptions.
• Content Authoring & Quality Assurance: Follow digital authoring procedures to format and publish accurate product data, ensuring full alignment with corporate style standards and brand guidelines.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Communicate effectively across internal teams (IT, Commercial, Marketing) and external suppliers to deliver product content on schedule for product launches.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities within the Content Management System (CMS) to improve content quality, eliminate missing attributes, and streamline authoring workflows.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Degree: Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific/technical field.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience authoring, updating, and maintaining digital content within enterprise Content Management Systems (CMS).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Data Handling: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel to manipulate, filter, and analyze large product data sets.
• Technical/Scientific Literacy: Working knowledge of scientific terminology and abbreviations.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional proofreading abilities with strong spelling, grammar, and writing skills.
• Technical Skills: Basic HTML formatting knowledge is a plus.
• Project & Time Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
