Product Change Leader

Location: Filton, Bristol (minimum 60% onsite)

Contract Length: Until November 2026

Pay Rates:

  • £35.00 per hour PAYE
  • £46.82 per hour Umbrella

Hours: 35 per week (overtime paid at standard rate)

IR35 Status: Inside IR35

Interview: One-stage virtual interview

About the Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Product Change Leader to join a leading aerospace and manufacturing organisation. You'll be responsible for driving product changes (modifications) through the Aircraft Change Process, working with a wide network of stakeholders both locally and internationally.

You'll manage the end‑to‑end project delivery of modifications, ensuring on‑time, on‑cost, and on‑quality outcomes. The role focuses on "Flow" modifications (under €300k) impacting wing production, with opportunities to work on major modifications and industrial or in‑service problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Progress allocated modifications through the Aircraft Change Process (from investigation to closure)
  • Ability to drumbeat multi functional team(s) and suppliers through various milestones and deliverables, namely; Critical Design Review (CDR) + Design for manufacture (DFM). Condition of supply changes (COSCR).
  • Plan and organise production trials and first implementation checks
  • Maintain configuration and MRP toolsets (e.g., SAP)
  • Provide regular progress updates and proactively manage risks/issues
  • Capture and document lessons learned
About You
  • Strong project management skills (PMP certification desirable)
  • Experience in configuration management and product changes
  • Background in Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, Quality, or Production (ideally within aerospace)
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar MRP systems is beneficial
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills
  • Resilient, proactive, and able to work autonomously
