Job description

Job title: Product Change Leader

Location: Filton - 60% onsite

Job type: 12 month's Contract

Shifts: Standard 35 hours per week (working 4.5 days between the hours of 7am - 7pm, hours agreed at business discretion)

Salary: £46 per hour Umbrella

A leading global aerospace organisation renowned for designing, manufacturing, and delivering advanced products and services across commercial aviation, defence, space, and helicopter sectors. They are currently seeking a Product Change Leader to join their team, focusing to drive product changes through the Aircraft Change Process.

Required:
  • Strong project management skills (PMP preferred) with knowledge of configuration management and related tools (ICC_ACP, ACC2, CAIR, SAP).
  • Experience in Manufacturing, Design, Quality, or Production Engineering, ideally within Airbus or a tier-1 supplier.
  • Analytical thinker with strong organisational skills and ability to work independently in dynamic environments.
  • Resilient, driven, and effective communicator able to influence and challenge stakeholders constructively.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead modification lifecycle from proposal to closure, coordinating cross-functional teams and suppliers through key milestones (CDR, DFM, COSCR).
  • Support Maturity and Decision Boards by assessing technical, manufacturing, commercial, and programme impacts.
  • Oversee production trials, First Implementation Checks (FIC), and ensure accurate configuration and MRP data (e.g. SAP).
  • Capture lessons learned and document improvement actions for continuous development and modification closure.
