Job summary

MBDA, a leading defence organisation, is recruiting an Undergraduate Placement in Procurement for 2027. You’ll gain hands-on exposure across the commercial landscape, work with UK and international suppliers, and help drive sourcing, supplier relations and value for money.

This 1-year placement starts September 2027, operates on a hybrid basis with 1–3 onsite days, and offers a company bonus, a generous pension, and benefits. Applicants must be UK citizens or dual nationals with BPSS checks.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in a business-related discipline.
• Strong interest in procurement and supplier management.
• Willingness to learn across end-to-end procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure across the procurement landscape and commercial activities.
• Drive strategies in Category Procurement and Supplier relationship management.
• Support subcontracting and services procurement with internal stakeholders.
• Assist in terms and conditions drafting and supplier negotiations.
