An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Support Officer to join the Procurement Operations Team within NOE CPC. This role will undertake tendering and contracting activity in support of the specialist category procurement teams within NOE CPC and also for external NHS client organisations.
We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic individual(s) wanting to make a positive difference in the NHS. The successful candidate(s) should be able to demonstrate strong personal skills, a sound understanding of public procurement practices and hands on experience of a wide range of tendering and contracting processes, including procurement document development and use of e‑tendering systems.
The Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LYPFT) is the main provider of Mental Health and Learning Disability services in Leeds. We also provide specialist inpatient services in York and some highly specialised services across the country. Applicants should be aware that individuals requiring a visa to work in the UK, the Trust only provides sponsorship for registered healthcare practitioner roles(this does not include Healthcare Support Workers). This is an essential requirement, and the Trust is unable to offer you a role if you do not meet Trust requirements for sponsorship and Home Office requirements for a visa.
This role will work closely with and support the Procurement Delivery and Process Manager and other colleagues within Procurement Operations Team to build effective working relationships with the specialist Category teams within NOE CPC, external NHS customers and supplier organisations. Experience of working in an operational procurement role with an organisation which is required to comply with the UK Public Contracts Regulations is highly desirable. Location: Work base as stated above, however NOE CPC adopts an agile working policy.
