Shape the future of sustainable sourcing.

Join a global biotechnology company that's redefining agriculture through science that works with nature, not against it.

By developing beneficial insects that protect crops naturally, this organisation helps farmers across the world increase yields, reduce chemical use, and protect ecosystems.

Now backed by new investment, the company is scaling fast and building a smarter, more connected procurement function - and they're looking for a Global Procurement Specialist to help lead that evolution.

The Role

As Global Procurement Specialist, you'll take a hands-on role in sourcing and supplier management across international operations.

Working closely with the Group Procurement Manager, you'll deliver projects that strengthen supply chains, unlock value, and drive sustainability through every purchasing decision.

In this role, you will
  • Lead sourcing and tender activity across global categories.
  • Build strong, forward-looking supplier partnerships.
  • Consolidate spend to deliver commercial and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and roll out category strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Partner with R&D, supply chain, and operations to solve challenges collaboratively.
  • Analyse data to identify cost savings and improvement opportunities.
  • Support the implementation of new procurement tools and systems.

This is a role with autonomy, visibility, and real purpose - ideal for a proactive procurement professional who wants their work to make a measurable difference.

About You

You're commercially sharp, curious, and driven to make a positive impact.

You bring structure and insight to procurement - but also creativity and initiative to keep things moving forward.

You'll bring:

  • 2-5 years' experience in procurement (direct and/or indirect).
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and relationship management skills.
  • Confidence working with international teams and diverse stakeholders.
  • Organised and adaptable approach to managing multiple priorities.
  • (Bonus) Fluency in Spanish or French.
Why Join?
  • Be part of a biotech company at the cutting edge of sustainable innovation.
  • Work mostly remotely, with just two days per month on-site in Essex.
  • Join a collaborative, inclusive culture where ideas are valued.
  • Competitive salary (£35,000-£50,000 DOE) + comprehensive benefits.
  • Real opportunities for progression and international exposure.

If you're looking for a role where your procurement expertise supports a more sustainable planet - while enjoying true flexibility and global impact - this could be the perfect next step.
