We are excited to be partnering with a world class innovation and research centre as they embark on an exciting growth journey.

The Procurement Specialist is a newly created position within a greenfield Procurement team, that will support the Head of Procurement and wider team in delivering first class procurement activity and develop robust systems and processes across the group.

Responsibilities

• You will take responsibility for the PO to Requisition process across a variety of goods and services, supporting supplier onboarding, monitoring procurement systems.
• This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience within the Source to Pay process and is willing to lead on all areas of the purchasing process.
• You will be the key interface for your stakeholder groups, managing relationships with scientists and professors.
• Our client has huge growth plans for the next 3 years, with a new state of the art campus under construction, head count growth from the hundreds to the thousands in the next 2 years.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Experience within the Source to Pay process and ability to lead on all areas of the purchasing process.
• On-site requirement in Oxford (minimum 3 days a week) and the right to work permanently in the UK.
