The main objective of the role is to help deliver the procurement strategy for a variety of high profile power projects; you will

• Manage the tender process for subcontract packages.
• Procure major material packages.
• Responsible for full end to end contract management across NEC4 frameworks.
• Identify synergies and leveraging opportunities across the supply chain.
• Managing senior stakeholders effectively, understanding their priorities, and proactively managing their expectations.

Candidate Requirements

Our client is looking for candidates with 4-5 years strategic procurement experience.

You will currently be working as a Senior Buyer or Category Specialist for a medium to large infrastructure contractor or regulated organisation working on construction or infrastructure projects.

Ideally you will have strong subcontract procurement understanding and / or overheadlines category experience and have led or assisted with category plans in your current or past roles.

Should they struggle to identify the above candidate profile, they would be open to meeting Procurement Specialists with 3+ years category management experience, again for a reputable main contractor.
