CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Procurement Senior Analyst to join the team located in London.

About the Role:

The purpose of this position is to manage the supplier relationship process, run and support supplier RFPs, and design, analyze and provide complex reports based on the collection of data related to the sourcing, contracting, and management and performance of suppliers.

Role Requirements:
  • Manages all aspects of the supplier performance management and development program as well as supplier business reviews.
  • Designs and manages the RFP processes to support program goals and requirements. Works with internal and client stakeholders in establishing, managing, creating RFPs and analyzing purchasing projects.
  • Works with stakeholders to rationalize active supplier list.
  • Prepares and presents results of analysis and reports along with their relative impact(s) to the business to all levels of management.
  • Maintain data integrity of databases and make changes as required to enhance accuracy, usefulness and access.
  • Collects and rationalizes complex data from multiple sources. Ensures data integrity and accuracy. Uses aggregate data from multiple sources to create a complete analysis, improvement and/or recommendation(s).
  • Coordinates with global souring team and peers to aggregate data align reporting.
  • Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key systems/processes in subject teams and day-to-day functions.
  • Acts as project lead, including supervisory and/or managerial activities, in the coordination of the procurement team to successfully complete specified projects.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvements by and among the clients and/or companies.
  • Prepares and presents results of analysis and reports along with their relative impact(s) to the business to all levels of management.
  • Develops scenario planning tools/models (exit/maintain/grow). Prepares forecasts and analyzes trends in general business conditions.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory responsibilities:

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan and supervise assignments of lower-level employees.

Role Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field from four-year College and/or University.
  • Minimum of five years of related experience and/or training.
  • C.P.M., C.P.S.M. or N.A.C.M. Certifications or eligibility preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
  • Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to address problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications.

Education/Experience:

Diploma/Degree from an accredited educational institution in the field of business or equivalent field is preferred but not required. Commensurate work experience and skill level will be considered. Focus should be on attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to innovate rather than education or work experience. Minimum of three (3) years of related work experience is required. History of consistent accuracy and ability to manage time is required.

Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.

Financial Knowledge:

Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.

Skills & Abilities:

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Spreadsheet skill set to include advanced functions such as graphics, pivot tables, formulas, Ariba, SAP ERP systems.

Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
