The Role

As a Procurement Performance Manager, you’ll lead procurement operations and performance across Mission Systems, driving strategic capability forward in line with our five-year plan. This is a role where your expertise will deliver real impact - reducing costs, optimising supplier relationships, and shaping processes that support national security. Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:

  • Lead Mission Systems supply chain performance and deliver on our five-year procurement strategy.
  • Manage and direct procurement operations, collaborating across functions to ensure success.
  • Drive delivery of benefit and savings targets for Mission Systems.
  • Collate and present performance reports for Group and Sector leadership.
  • Champion process standardisation and act as Coupa lead for Group P&SC.

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with days onsite and days working from home.

Essential experience of the Procurement Performance Manager
  • Significant procurement experience, ideally in a project procurement environment, including management experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Flexible approach to workload and ability to operate at all levels.
  • Self-motivated with proven ability to lead and influence in a matrix environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, IFS, SAP, and Microsoft Office tools.
Qualifications for the Procurement Performance Manager
  • Degree-level qualification and/or relevant engineering, supply chain, or lean culture experience.
  • Membership of a professional body such as CIPS Level 5 or above (advantageous but not essential).
