Job summary

Valeo Foods UK’s Matthew Walker site seeks a Procurement Officer to coordinate raw ingredient supply, engage suppliers, and support production planning. You will drive cost savings, continuous improvements, and collaborate with product development to align with innovation needs.

Key tasks include updating SAP, communicating price changes, and organizing supplier reviews, with a focus on cost control and waste reduction in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Previous administration experience.
• Microsoft Computer literate with SAP experience.
• Good interpersonal skills, able to build positive relationships with different stakeholders.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload to meet demands from multiple stakeholders.
• Calm & measured approach in an often-pressured environment which often involves working to tight deadlines.
• A 'can do' attitude and 'hands on' approach.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate supply of raw ingredient materials for site.
• Communicate requirements with suppliers and internal departments.
• Manage production plans and support cost savings initiatives.
• Develop and process purchasing cost savings and continuous improvements.
• Work with product development to meet innovation needs.
• Organise review meetings on site with new and current suppliers.
