A leading procurement consultancy in West London is seeking an ambitious Procurement Manager to develop procurement strategies across technology components. The role requires strong relationship management with stakeholders and suppliers. The ideal candidate has proven experience in category management and a strategic mindset. This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring in-office presence three days a week.

We are currently partnering with a leading FTSE 100 global client that leads in technology innovation and services at a global level. They are a leader in their field and have a strong reputation for developing new technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a broad area of spend across Components, Routers, IoT, Content Protection, Anti-Piracy, Chips, Memory and Batteries.
  • Support enterprise-wide business objectives with the opportunity to own and develop the category area.
  • Build effective relationships with internal stakeholder groups and specific vendors.
  • Build and implement category strategies with end-to-end capability.
  • Challenge the status quo where appropriate and articulate proposals to senior stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to grow the category and become the go-to procurement specialist for this category.
  • Work closely with peer groups and stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of professional services to the group\'s projects.
Qualifications
  • Experience in building and implementing category strategies with end-to-end capability.
  • Confidence to challenge the status quo and the ability to articulate and communicate this to senior stakeholders.
