Your new role
As Procurement Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic sourcing plans across IT and Marketing categories (c. £15m p.a spend). You'll lead procurement initiatives for both non-tendered and high-value tendered contracts (over £100k), ensuring best value and compliance with procurement policies.

Working closely with stakeholders and suppliers, you'll drive innovation, cost control, and service excellence while embedding ethical and sustainable practices into every procurement decision.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and implementing category strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Leading supplier evaluation, selection, and contract negotiation.
  • Managing procurement projects and supporting new sourcing initiatives.
  • Providing data-driven insights to influence procurement decisions.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Proven strategic procurement experience, ideally in indirect procurement with experience in IT & Marketing categories being desirable
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficiency in digital procurement tools and contract development.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to deliver value-added procurement solutions.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and project management skills.
  • A proactive, resilient approach with the confidence to act independently and collaboratively.
  • CIPS Level 4+ would be highly desirable
