As The University of Warwick enters another exciting world leading development phase and its continued growth, the Universities Estates department are recruiting a Procurement manager with experience within an Estates capacity (hard FM, Building consultancy services categories)

This is a great opportunity to join a procurement function, which is at the heart of the institution’s essential estates maintenance and capital development department.

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for a proactive and skilled individual with:

  • Demonstrable experience in leading and delivering competitive tenders end to end
  • Excellent communication, negotiation skills and the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven experience of managing a defined portfolio of spend, developing and undertaking category strategies to deliver best value and continuous improvement solutions.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and strategic sourcing.
  • Experience of working effectively within a framework of robust procurement, regulatory and audit procedures
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and use data for decision making.
  • Experience of providing procurement and contract management advice
  • An understanding of Public Sector PCR Regulations is desirable.
