Overview

Due to continued success, we are delighted to offer the opportunity of Procurement Manager to become an integral member of the procurement team, working within a dedicated product category, Ambient Salads and gaining the opportunity to work with an impressive portfolio of Growers.

Responsibilities

• Support the procurement process to ensure an effective supply chain
• Work with logistics & planning to ensure accurate stock information
• Manage purchase orders and stock data through the ERP system
• Liaise with salad growers to ensure accurate volumes and arrival data

Person specification

• Previous fresh produce procurement experience essential & knowledge of ambient salads
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Numerical competence & strong commercial acumen
• Professional attitude with a keen eye for detail
• Strong sense of responsibility
• Ability to perform competently in a dynamic and pressurised environment
