Defour Partnership is proud to be supporting a leading values‑driven organisation in the charity sector with the recruitment of a talented and strategic Procurement Manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about building and improving procurement functions to deliver real impact in a complex, multi-site organisation.

💼 About the Role

As Procurement Manager, you will lead on the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of procurement policies and procedures. You’ll collaborate across operational teams, support services, and external suppliers to ensure compliance, value for money, and strategic alignment.

Key responsibilities include
  • Developing and maintaining procurement policies
  • Leading on supplier onboarding, contract compliance, and due diligence
  • Advising on commercial terms in collaboration with Legal
  • Driving supplier governance and process improvements
  • Supporting audits and regulatory adherence
  • Managing and developing a high‑performing procurement team
👤 About You

You’ll bring :

  • Proven experience in a senior procurement role within a large or multi‑site organisation
  • Deep knowledge of UK procurement law and regulation
  • Strong contract negotiation, supplier management, and stakeholder skills
  • Leadership and team development capability

Desirable :

  • CIPS qualification or membership
  • Experience within the charity or public sector
