A leading infrastructure services provider is seeking a Procurement Specialist to lead activities aimed at delivering significant savings and managing supplier relationships, with a commitment to sustainability and ESG principles. The Procurement function is undergoing an exciting transformation journey, deploying best in class processes, ensuring an innovative, reliable and cost-efficient supply chain that can grow with M Group to support delivery of our strategy.

You'll work closely with the Head of Procurement, Group Procurement, and divisional teams to identify and deliver savings opportunities. We'll count on you to lead sourcing activity, manage supplier relationships, and turn business needs into practical procurement plans. You'll embed best practice, drive continuous improvement, and support our ESG goals.
The role requires attendance at the Warrington office 1‑2 days per week; hybrid working for remaining days.
You’ll have solid procurement experience and a track record of delivering savings and driving efficiency. You’ll be confident in sourcing, negotiating, managing contracts, and working with suppliers to get the best outcomes. You’ll work closely with stakeholders—up to executive level—so strong influencing and communication skills are key. We’ll look to you to bring practical knowledge of the full procurement lifecycle, supplier performance, and commercial risk management, and to collaborate with operational teams to make things happen.
Ideally, you’ll have a procurement qualification such as MCIPS, experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, and a degree‑level education. If you’ve worked in project‑based or engineering‑led environments and know how to embed sustainability and ESG into procurement decisions, that’s a real plus.
