Procurement Manager

Location: South Derbyshire (Office-Based)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

SF Recruitment are working with a Manufacturing business in South Derbyshire who are looking to appoint a Procurement Manager to their team. This is a key role within the business, ideal for someone with strong leadership capability who can manage a small team while remaining hands‑on with day‑to‑day procurement activity.

This position focuses heavily on production buying, where accuracy and consistency are essential. You’ll ensure the team is raising purchase orders on time, monitoring supplier confirmations, tracking delivery performance, and escalating issues as needed. The right person will be confident in maintaining structure, and keeping the team aligned with system‑driven priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a small procurement team, setting clear expectations and ensuring strong performance.
  • Oversee supplier relationships, ensuring timely deliveries aligned with ERP schedules.
