OEG is hiring a Procurement Manager at one of the following locations, Portsmouth/Hunmanby/Chester/Lowestoft, United Kingdom. The role involves developing and leading the strategic procurement function across the OEG Topside Division.

Business Services Manager (Topside Division)

Through our specialist divisions - topside, marine, subsea, logistics and industrials, we are a pivotal link in the global offshore energy project chain, ensuring our customers’ projects are delivered safely, reliably and efficiently.

To develop and lead the strategic procurement function across the OEG Topside Division.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

Define and implement the overall procurement strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and project requirements to drive procurement transformation.

Establish procurement policies, procedures, and frameworks to ensure compliance, consistency, and operational efficiency.

Build and maintain a resilient supply chain that supports the company’s growth and sustainability objectives.

Oversee the negotiation and execution of complex contracts and strategic supplier agreements.

Ensure robust risk management, effective cost control, and thorough performance monitoring across all procurement activities.

Develop strategic partnerships with global suppliers and contractors within the offshore renewables industry.

QHSE responsibilities

To have a general understanding of the areas of our QHSE Management System and OEG’s QHSE aims and objectives that are relevant to the role.

Comply with the requirements of OEG Energy Group Policies and the responsibilities within the wider QHSE Management System.

Skills and experiences

Proven leadership capabilities, commercial acumen, and deep industry knowledge to drive procurement excellence and deliver value creation.

Minimum of 5 years’ procurement experience within the energy or infrastructure sectors.

Demonstrated success in managing procurement programmes and overseeing extensive supplier networks.

Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial strategy, and risk management principles.

Experience in offshore wind farm development, marine logistics, or international procurement.

Proven experience in managing procurement activities within the APAC region.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

CIPS or an equivalent professional procurement certification.
