About Our Client

Job Description
  • Carry out category and project-related procurement activities through strategic contract negotiations, implementation, and ongoing relationship management
  • Provide expert guidance to stakeholders on end-to-end procurement processes, enabling best practice procurement across all
  • Identify opportunities for improvements and value-add in processes, procedures, and during procurement activities, including managing supplier relationships and negotiating commercial terms.
  • Identify and mitigate procurement, supplier, and supply chain risks to the organisation.
  • Maintain the Contract Register, ensuring it is up-to-date and accurate, with timely notifications to the business to enable necessary procurement activities to be carried out.
  • Ensure contracts have appropriate supplier performance controls enabled through effective category strategies and sourcing exercises
The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Manager should have:

  • MCIPS or Working towards MCIPS or demonstrable procurement expertise
  • Strong written communication skills, able to write complex reports
  • Experience of supplier negotiations and relationship management
  • Strong ability to influence using multiple styles as appropriate
  • Strong commercial acumen demonstrated in previous roles
  • Experience in negotiating contracts
