This is a great opportunity for an experienced Procurement Manager to join Aviva on an initial 6-month contract, supporting strategic procurement activity across a portfolio of categories, sub-categories and suppliers.
We're looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to develop and deliver effective sourcing and contracting strategies that provide innovative, commercially beneficial solutions for the business.
You'll be responsible for managing end-to-end sourcing activity, including RFX/RFP processes, supplier negotiations and contracting, while ensuring compliance with Aviva's procurement policies, governance and minimum standards.
The role will involve working closely with stakeholders and suppliers to understand business requirements, manage commercial projects and implement procurement strategies successfully. You'll also support supplier onboarding and exit, change management, supplier performance and the resolution of ongoing commercial issues or disputes.
This is a varied role requiring strong project and change management skills, commercial awareness and the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Procurement Manager, Strategic Sourcing Manager or Category Manager with a strong track record of delivering complex procurement projects within a large, corporate or regulated organisation.
Experience operating in a highly governed environment, with strong stakeholder engagement, commercial negotiation and change management skills, would be particularly beneficial.
