Hayward Hawk are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced and driven Procurement Manager to take ownership of supplier strategy, sourcing, and contract management across a busy and growing organisation. This is a key role for someone who enjoys building relationships, driving value, and leading continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies across key categories.
  • Manage supplier relationships and lead negotiations to ensure best value and service quality.
  • Oversee the full procurement cycle — from sourcing and tendering to contract management.
  • Work closely with internal teams to understand requirements and deliver cost-effective solutions.
  • Monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with company standards and KPIs.
  • Identify and deliver savings initiatives, process improvements, and efficiency gains.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure all activities meet audit and regulatory requirements.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to procurement spend.
  • Stay up to date on market trends and emerging suppliers to keep the business competitive.
What You’ll Need
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in procurement, supply chain, or category management.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Proven track record of driving commercial value and efficiency improvements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with procurement systems and Excel.
  • CIPS qualification or working towards it (advantageous but not essential).
