Overview

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for procurement excellence? Buro Happold is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead our global purchasing strategy and operations. This is a high-impact role where you'll drive cost efficiency, enhance supplier relationships, and contribute directly to our financial and operational success.

The role will be based from out Bath office with hybrid working.

About the Role

As Procurement Manager, you'll oversee key global service categories including travel, sub-consultants, and facilities. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders and the finance team to implement best-in-class procurement policies and practices that support our business goals and sustainability commitments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for indirect spend
  • Manage global supplier frameworks and vendor relationships
  • Lead contract negotiations and optimise commercial terms
  • Collaborate with business units to support outsourcing initiatives
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing while maintaining quality standards
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in procurement, especially in travel and facilities
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Experience managing global RFPs and multi-site procurement initiatives
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and project management skills
  • Hands-on, strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities
Qualifications
  • Professional qualifications from CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply)
  • OR Chartered Engineer with relevant experience and CIPS
  • OR BSc/MBA with relevant experience and CIPS
