Job description
Job Title: Supply Chain Leader - AUKUS Integration

Location: Barrow-In-Furness - We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £46,000+ depending on experience

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead the co-ordination of all Supply Chain (SC) interface activities with key project and customer stakeholders within your area of responsibility and drive a culture of added value
  • Lead, in collaboration with the Australian Submarine Builder (ASB) and the UK SSNA programme, the process to establish sourcing recommendations for major subcontract procurement for the AUKUS build programme, including all commercial and cost matters
  • Lead all AUKUS SC project reporting requirements including Australian Industrial Capability activities managing interfaces between SC and the AUKUS IPTs and ASB
  • Lead the communication of your areas SC activities when informing cross-functional and external stakeholders of performance, threats & failures. When required, deputise for the SC Senior Management
  • Contribute to Supply Chain Excellence by supporting activities that deliver on People, Process, Technology & Governance, ensuring the Submarines and AUKUS SC function is fit for the future

Your skills and experiences:

  • Supply Chain, Procurement, Commercial or Project Management experience is desirable

The Procurement Team:

As a Supply Chain leader at BAE Systems, you will be delivering through a number of Supply Chain Professionals, ensuring your team deliver Scope and fulfil Processes, Toolsets & Reporting requirements. This is a fast paced, commercially driven supply chain and project environment with a varied range of development opportunities, working as part of a diverse team to deliver the AUKUS trilateral programme and aligning with the UK's National Defence Programme. We offer relocation support across all Submarine roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
