Job summary

Asda is offering a Procurement Graduate Programme at Asda House, Leeds. Over two years, you will rotate through four placements across Technology, Marketing, Logistics, Property and Corporate Services while building commercial and analytical procurement skills.

You will gain practical experience in sourcing, supplier management and contract activities, with opportunities to study toward a CIPS qualification and support for your long-term career in procurement.

Qualifications

• A degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or a related subject is preferred.
• We're looking for individuals who are curious, eager to learn and demonstrate the right behaviours and mindset.

Responsibilities

• Supporting sourcing, tendering and procurement activities across a diverse range of spend categories.
• Building, maintaining and developing effective relationships with suppliers and key business stakeholders.
• Assisting with contract negotiations, supplier performance management and commercial reviews.
• Analysing procurement and spend data to identify opportunities, mitigate risks and deliver cost efficiencies.
• Contributing to procurement transformation, process improvement and strategic change initiatives.
• Supporting procurement governance, policy compliance and risk management throughout the procurement lifecycle.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver business objectives and strategic priorities.
• Developing category expertise across Technology, Marketing, Logistics, Property and Corporate Services.
• Preparing high-quality reports, presentations and recommendations to support decision-making.
• Supporting the delivery of sustainable, ethical and responsible sourcing initiatives.
