Job summary

A leading procurement agency in the UK is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to support procurement activities within a major digitalisation project in the Aerospace Sector. You will coordinate supplier deployment, monitor performance, and engage with internal stakeholders to drive project success. The ideal candidate has proven procurement experience and skills in project planning and supplier management. This role offers £30.00 per hour and is full-time onsite with potential extension.

Procurement Coordinator

Location: Filton (Full-time, onsite)
Contract: Until 26/11/2026 (possible extension)
Pay Rate: £30.00 per hour (Umbrella) / £22.43 per hour (PAYE)
Hours: 35 hours per week (4.5 days, flexible between 7am-7pm)
Security Clearance: BPSS+ required
IR35 Status: Inside of IR35

About the Role

Our Client is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to support procurement activities within a major digitalisation and modernisation project in the Aerospace Sector. This role involves coordinating supplier deployment of new processes and tools, monitoring performance, and ensuring alignment across procurement operations and commercial teams.

You will play a key role in project planning, supplier engagement, and risk management, working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to drive successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project tasks and activities for supplier deployment of new processes and tools.
  • Monitor supplier performance using KPIs, dashboards, and project plans.
  • Support risk management and maintain project risk registers.
  • Facilitate supplier pilots, tests, and validation activities.
  • Prepare reports, KPIs, and briefings for project monitoring and communication.
  • Maintain strong engagement with procurement and commercial teams to ensure project success.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or administration roles.
  • Strong project planning and supplier management skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and logistics flows.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proactive, motivated, and detail-oriented approach.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite and SAP preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing industry undergoing change is desirable.
