YTL UK is seeking a proactive Administrator to join our Procurement team in Bath. The role focuses on supplier onboarding, reporting, and supporting IT/AI initiatives, while helping organize user guidance for new members.

You will develop your procurement knowledge with ongoing training and participate in cross-team activities across the group. A strong IT foundation and data skills will be beneficial in this busy environment.

Job description

We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic and experienced Administrator to join our Procurement team.

The Procurement team plays an integral part in the success of the business by placing orders and contracts, making contract payments and onboarding new suppliers.

What you'll do

The team advises and assists the business in relation to the procurement of goods, services and consultants to deliver works and professional services.

You'll mainly dealwith:

• supplier onboarding and administrative supplier management
• providing and creating standard reports for the wider Procurement team
• acting as a focal point for procurement on developing internal IT and AI projects
• supporting the team in creating user guidance for new team members.

What you'll need

We're looking for a committed, team player and proactive person with good attention to detail who is looking to develop their knowledge and experience further.

It's not vital that you understand the engineering sector or water industry, as we will provide you with training and are always on hand to help get you up to speed.

You'll also need:

• excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications
• strong data analysis skills and the ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
• strong communication skills to be able to engage with various teams
• a good understanding of Power BI software (advantageous but not essential).

Further training relating to procurement activities and the specific systems we use (such as Jaggaer, Unit4 Agresso, SharePoint and OneDrive) will be provided.
