At Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary, we have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement and Contracts Coordinator to join our team. This role will be required to provide an effective stock control service, ensuring consumable and critical components are readily available, enabling the projects and estates maintenance services to be delivered in accordance with contractual requirements.
The Procurement & Contracts Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high quality logistic service. The post holder is expected to exercise a high degree of autonomy making decisions in line with service requirements.
Within this role you will be responsible for monitoring issuance and receipt of tools and equipment, ensuring all items are properly tracked, coordinating regular testing and calibration of equipment in line with operational and safety standards, maintaining accurate records and ensuring readiness for use. You will also review and manage subcontractor and service contracts, track key dates such as expiry and renewal, ensure timely market engagement to secure competitive pricing and value, and maintain compliance and cost-effectiveness across all contracted services.
