Job summary

Scottish and Southern Energy is seeking a senior procurement and commercial leader to shape the commercial success of major programmes. You will lead a procurement and commercial team, partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver value, innovative contracting and sustainable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience; membership or progression towards a professional body.
• Experience delivering procurement and commercial services in complex, regulated or infrastructure environments.
• Strong commercial acumen: contract drafting, negotiation, management, governance and claims resolution on large projects.
• Collaborative leadership, relationship-building and ability to develop high-performing teams.
• Analytical and financial skills to interpret data, assess risk and support decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a procurement and commercial team with a safety-focused culture.
