Job summary

A leading investment firm based in Bristol is searching for a Centre of Excellence Lead for Procurement to oversee systems and reporting accuracy within the Procurement function. The ideal candidate will possess experience in leading a Procurement team, data analytics skills, and knowledge of regulatory requirements in a Financial Services environment. About the role

This will involve working with our existing and many new suppliers to drive change and innovation, where we are front and centre to deliver. Your personal impact will be supporting the Procurement team with the necessary, technology, process, procedures and reporting to ensure compliance with regulation and ways of working.

Be the lead for any risk assessments or audit requirements across the Procurement function.

What you'll be doing

As the Centre of Excellence Lead for Procurement, you will be responsible for the Procurement data, systems, and reporting across the Procurement function, ensuring data accuracy, timely reporting and system access and administration. These are critical elements in supporting the Procurement team to ensure consistency in process, data and all reporting activities:

  • Systems will include Workday, Coupa, Creditsafe, Spendkey and the Procurement Orchestration layer to ensure access and currency of the systems are maintained.
  • Ensure that all reports and presentations are maintained in time for the deadlines, looking at ways to improve the processes and approach to automate the system.
  • Maintain all policies and procedures and be the owner for ensuring those policies are maintained with any new regulatory changes or HL process changes affecting the Procurement processes. Ensure that all annual process reviews are performed in line with the documented standards.
  • ESG will become more prevalent in our everyday activities and managing the reporting and measuring of the required metrics are the responsibility of the Centre of Excellence.
  • Good team management skills are needed to ensure the team work effectively to deliver on the requirements, always looking to make improvements.
About you
  • Experience in a Procurement Centre of Excellence or similar role - creating and leading a Procurement centre of excellence team, establishing trust with stakeholders and procurement team alike to create credibility and drive accurate data, reporting, regulatory compliance and systems to support the Procurement function.
  • Knowledgeable and credible across all Procurement systems and regulatory requirements., innovative by nature, inquisitive with the ability to confidently challenge and influence stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of regulatory landscape in a Financial Services environment (or similar regulated environment)
  • Understanding of EBA Guidelines on Outsourcing
  • Good data analytics skills with the ability to understand financial, economic, risk and contractual data and to consolidate into easy-to-read documents and presentations.
  • Able to create excellent presentations and dashboards to support the Procurement team.
Interview Process

Will consist of competency-based questions and an assessment of your technical knowledge and transferable skills.

Working Schedule

Based in Bristol head office, BS1 5HL. This role is permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We offer a hybrid flexible working pattern to enable you the option of working from home and coming into the office.
