This role is hybrid with 3 days per week in Leamington Spa office.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of Procurement Management Specialists that deliver auditable and sustainable cost base reduction to clients across various industries.

With extensive procurement experience in sectors such as manufacturing, distribution, retail, hospitality, healthcare, property, and services, this growing business offers a hardworking, supportive, and fun working environment.

As a Procurement Category Manager, you will work on behalf of well-known clients to identify and implement innovative supply chain solutions that reduce costs and add value.

They are open to candidates with diverse procurement backgrounds, with particular interest in Indirect, F&B, FM, and IT Procurement experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interact with key stakeholders and analyze data to develop category management strategies.
• Advise and agree on procurement strategies for high-spend categories.
• Deliver measurable savings through hands-on category management, including tenders, negotiations, and auctions.
• Influence stakeholders to gain support for proposed solutions.
• Utilize leading-edge tools and processes, along with creative thinking, to design solutions that deliver rapid cost savings and performance improvements.
• Sourcing suppliers from the UK and worldwide to meet needs.

Skills & Experience:

• 2-6 years of procurement experience in a major UK or international company.
• Strong academic (degree) background.
• A successful track record in managing and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to deliver savings in high-spend environments.
• Keen commercial business acumen.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
