Job description

Due to the continued growth of the firm, our Procurement team is looking for a proactive Buyer to source and procure goods and services across a range of categories.

From the outset, you will have the opportunity to build strong relations with suppliers and stakeholders across the firm, negotiate contracts and play a key role in maximising commercial value whilst managing risk.

What You'll Do
  • Sourcing and procurement of goods and services across a range of different categories.
  • Work closely with key internal stakeholders to proactively understand business requirements.
  • Manage tender processes and quotation requests to identify suitable suppliers.
  • Building, maintaining and managing supplier relationships to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Maintain procurement systems and records, ensuring compliant processes and that information is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Conducting supplier due diligence exercises, including issuance and review of procurement due diligence questionnaires and obtaining supplier financial health reports.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for procurement related enquiries via the central inbox, providing prompt and accurate responses to internal and external stakeholders.
Who We're Looking For
  • Previous experience of assisting in the purchase of goods / services is required.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, in written and verbal communications with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Self-starter, with a proactive approach, and passion for delivering value and driving efficiencies.
  • Experience of working in a high volume, fast paced environment is essential, as is an ability to work at pace with good attention to detail, delivering quickly to high standards.
  • Commercial acumen with ability to analyse data, spot opportunities and problem solve
