NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP) Procurement Services’ North Integrated Partnership Team is seeking a Band 6 Procurement Business Manager. The post focuses on delivering complex procurement projects, tendering, and line managing staff within a dynamic NHS Wales environment.

The role covers a broad range of categories including Estates, Catering, Facilities, Finance and Transport, with an emphasis on commercial acumen and innovative procurement solutions.

Competenze

• Proven experience delivering complex Procurement Projects and tendering.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience of people / staff supervision / management - preferably within procurement or supply.
• Experience of category management and developing team work plans.
• Qualified to CIPS Level 5.
• ILM4 or other Management qualification.
• Proficient in IT and MS Office.

• Lead a variety of categories within the Non Medical Procurement Team (Estates Construction Projects, Estates Professional Services, Catering, Facilities, Corporate Affairs, Finance and Transport).

Main duties of the job

NWSSP Procurement Service is an established Procurement service assisting Health Boards and NHS Trusts across Wales to deliver patient centred services. We are an award winning service focusing on value, safety, excellence, innovation and quality. As a procurement service we have an obligation to provide stakeholders and customers with the best quality service.
