Role Summary

We are recruiting for Procurement and Sourcing Manager to join our Supply Chain team.

You will be responsible for the strategic souring and operational buying.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic sourcing – identify and onboard quality suppliers
  • Provide coaching, training, and guidance to the Supply Chain team to ensure efficient day-to-day procurement operations
  • Operational sourcing – on a project-by-project basis, recommend suitable vendors, for both tender and execution
  • Obtain competitive pricing to support tenders and bids
  • Vendor management – support the management of cost, supply risk, H&S & ESG. Manage relationships, performance, development also approval
  • Cost reduction – actively look for structural changes to reduce costs
  • Previous experience in a buying / sourcing processes
  • Understanding of best value (Price, quality, service & sustainability)
  • Previous experience in a construction or civils environment
  • Ability to build strong relationships
  • Strong negotiation skills
Qualifications
  • £55k to £65k doe
  • Up to £65k plus a Company Car or Car Allowance
