Job description

Thirteen Group is on the lookout for a Procurement Advisor to join our Procurement team at Hudson Quay in Middlesbrough on a fixed term basis for 9 months. The team is hybrid working, travelling to the office in Middlesbrough for catch ups and meetings typically 1-2 days per week.

Responsibilities
  • You’ll be providing administrative support to the Procurement team by running quotations/ tenders as well as supporting more complex tenders being led by other team members.
  • You will be using In-tend daily, managing supplier access, ensuring tender documentation is uploaded and quality questions are entered as well as administering contract information.

    We are looking for someone who has a 'can do' attitude and a positive approach to problem solving as things don't always run as smoothly as we would like.

  • We are a small team who all have vital roles in ensuring the procurement service is delivered therefore you will be able to work well in a team environment with great communication skills both verbal and written.
  • You'll have great communication skills.
  • You should be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, have experience in completing data analysis and creating required formulas to manage data and compare.
  • You will be able to quickly pick up or have some previous experience with software-based systems (preferably financial systems and e-Procurement tender portals).
