The role involves managing indirect purchasing, supporting procurement systems, and liaising with suppliers. Progress Rail is looking to recruit a Procurement Administrator to deliver added value (cost savings, efficiencies) performance and quality improvements, reduce risks with material supply and support related corporate goals through our external supply chain. The successful candidate will assist with purchasing goods and services that support the operations of the business but are not directly included in the products or services sold. This can include office supplies, maintenance services, software and anything else needed for the day to day operations of the business. The role of the procurement support is to manage expenses and ensure the efficient operation of the business without directly affecting the production process.
