Job summary
Refresco UK is seeking an accomplished Utilities and Process Engineering Manager to lead the Process and Utilities teams at Bridgwater. You will drive safe, reliable, cost-effective plant operations and guide maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will shape strategy, deliver capital projects, ensure compliance with PUWER, LOLER and other regs, and collaborate with Production, Quality, HSE and Sustainability to optimise site performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Extensive FMCG/manufacturing experience with regulated environments.
- Strong knowledge of process plant engineering and hygienic design.
- Experience delivering maintenance strategies and reliability improvements.
Responsibilities
- Lead Process and Utilities Engineering teams to build high-performing culture.
- Own maintenance and reliability strategies for plant and utilities assets.
- Ensure compliance with PSSR, PUWER, LOLER, DSEAR, Legionella and other regs.
- Manage priorities, interventions, contractor performance and resources.
- Drive RCA activities after major breakdowns and implement preventative actions.
- Monitor KPIs for reliability, maintenance, energy, and environmental performance.
