Are you a technically minded foodie with a passion for turning great ideas into delicious, retail-ready products? We're looking for a Process Technologist to join a leading food manufacturer, playing a pivotal role in bringing new concepts from kitchen to factory floor with precision, creativity, and technical excellence.

What You'll Be Doing as the Process Technologist:
  • Lead product scale-up and factory trials – manage the seamless transition from kitchen samples to full production, ensuring every launch meets customer, technical, and quality expectations.
  • Collaborate across NPD, Technical, and Production teams, driving innovation and ensuring processes are optimised for quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Own process documentation – create and maintain manufacturing methods, HACCP documentation, QAS, and photographic standards to ensure full compliance and consistency.
  • Coordinate raw materials and specifications, ensuring all new ingredients meet safety, legality, and performance standards ahead of production.
  • Champion product quality and food safety, overseeing shelf‑life, nutritional, and cooking validation trials in line with customer protocols.
  • Support artwork and packaging approval, ensuring alignment between factory capability, process control, and finished product presentation.
  • Troubleshoot and improve processes, analysing trial data and operational feedback to identify and implement practical, value‑adding solutions.
  • Be a proactive technical partner, contributing insights, sharing best practice, and continuously driving standards of safety, compliance, and excellence.
