Job summary

Logoplaste UK is seeking a Process Technician to join our plastics manufacturing site. You will operate, maintain and improve plastic processing machines, perform changeovers, and ensure quality checks and safety practices.

You will work as part of a proactive team with full training provided. A good understanding of health & safety is required and prior mechanical/electrical experience would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience of Stretch Blow Moulding and Injection Moulding would be advantageous, however, full training will be given.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety.
• Mechanical / electrical experience would be advantageous – however, full training will be given.

Responsibilities

• Operation, maintenance and improvement of the sites Plastic Processing machines.
• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on related equipment as required.
• Performs production change overs and start up procedures.
• Inspect the finished product – visual and/or by camera.
• Complete quality checks.
• Comply with company safety policy & procedures as well as maintain good housekeeping.

Logoplaste UK, is currently seeking to recruit a Process Technician.

Reporting directly to the Team Leader you will be required to work as an integral part of the team and be able to demonstrate a good hands-on approach.

Key Tasks & Activities

• Operation, maintenance and improvement of the sites Plastic Processing machines
• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on related equipment as required
• Performs production change overs and start up procedures
• Inspect the finished product – visual and/or by camera
• Complete quality checks
• Comply with company safety policy & procedures as well as maintain good housekeeping

Who we are looking for…

Background and Experience

• Experience of Stretch Blow Moulding and Injection Moulding machines would be advantageous, however, full training will be given
• Good understanding of Health & Safety

Technical Skills

• Tool changes and planned maintenance would be advantageous

Interpersonal Skills

• Excellent team skills along with an enthusiastic and proactive approach

• Possess good interpersonal skills, along with excellent organizational skills and job prioritization
• Good communication and reliability are essential for this position
