Job description

We're looking for skilled technical managers, experienced working with process products, for an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected UK valve and actuator manufacturer. Joining the team as the companys Process Technical Manager, youll help manage process and team performance and development. Our clients core business is in process valves (carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron, butterfly), actuators, and brass ball valves, so experience working with these parts is highly advantageous.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage a team responsible for the design and implementation of the manufacturing processes
• Responsible for the supervision, performance, and development of employees within a sub-group of the Production Engineering team
• Actively recruit A-Grade talent into the team, ensuring each new team member is effectively trained
• Apply a structured project management approach, including project planning, schedule development, resource loading, and project governance
• Exercise your ability to comply with all reasonable industry related standards and programs
• Drive operational excellence by searching for continuous improvement across process, quality, production and cost

The ideal candidate for this Process Technical Manager vacancy will have a background in process products, as well as the technical capabilities required to succeed in this role. Experience within the Oil and Gas industry would also be considered advantageous.
