Job summary

A leading engineering and manufacturing business in Tyseley is seeking a Process & Quality Engineer to enhance production and quality processes. This role involves supporting quality management systems and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Automotive Engineering, knowledge of quality standards like ISO, and strong communication skills. Qualifications

  • Knowledge of ISO, IATF, APQP and related quality standards.
  • Experience in process or quality engineering.
  • Experience in auditing or quality assurance activities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and enhance production and quality processes.
  • Support QMS, EMS, and wider business management systems.
  • Design and develop tooling, fixtures, and product improvements.
  • Complete supplier, product, and service audits/inspections.
  • Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and production documentation.
  • Lead and support continual improvement activities.
  • Deliver quality awareness training to staff.

Ability to organise, prioritise, and multitask effectively

Education

Degree (or equivalent) in Automotive Engineering or similar
Audit qualification or willingness to work towards one
